Introduction
My official merch store: a custom headless storefront in Next.js wired to Shopify's Storefront API, with GSAP motion and smooth scrolling.
Work Done
Headless Shopify integration full stack frontend website.

Challenges
Combining a powerful shopping system (Shopify) with complex animations (GSAP) without slowing down the website or making the scrolling feel heavy.

Solutions
I used a Headless Commerce approach, using the Shopify Storefront API for data and Next.js for the interface. I integrated Lenis for smooth scrolling and GSAP for professional animations to make the site feel premium and kinetic.

Results
I successfully launched a lightning fast online store that features smooth motion, automated SEO for every product, and a seamless checkout process that handles everything from search to payment.
Details
A headless merch store
For my official merch store I didn't want a stock Shopify theme. I built a headless storefront: a fully custom Next.js frontend wired to Shopify through its Storefront API, so I control every pixel while Shopify handles products, checkout, and orders.
The motion
I like good motion, so I used GSAP for clip-path reveals and staggered product lists, and Lenis for smooth scrolling that feels natural rather than janky. Moving through the store should feel considered, and that's most of what makes a small shop feel legit.
Under the hood
TanStack Query handles data fetching, so product info and cart updates land instantly. I built a dynamic metadata system that generates SEO titles and descriptions for every product and collection automatically, and the site builds its own sitemap and robots.txt by pulling every product handle from Shopify at build time. Animation on top, real full-stack wiring underneath.
