Introduction

My portfolio site, built as a showcase in itself: a Next.js front end with every content type modelled and managed in a custom Sanity Studio.

02

Work Done

Full-stack development, custom Sanity Studio Portfolio.

03

Challenges

Designing a flexible structure in the Sanity CMS that could handle diverse content types (Projects, FAQs, Process steps) and ensuring ultra-fast loading times despite being content-driven.

04

Solutions

I leveraged Next.js for static site generation (SSG) to ensure rapid loading. Sanity Studio was customized to provide a clean, user-friendly interface for managing all portfolio content, including project details and images.

05

Results

Successfully launched a professional, high-performance portfolio site that loads instantly. All content is easily managed and updated by me via the custom Sanity Studio, separating content from code.

Details

My portfolio, as a demo of how I work

This site is my portfolio, and I built it to be a technical showcase on its own. The point was to prove I can build and run a decoupled app, where the content is fully separate from the code.

I used Next.js with static generation, so the pages load almost instantly. First impressions matter, and a portfolio that's slow undercuts the whole pitch.

Sanity Studio as the backbone

All the content runs through a custom Sanity Studio. I designed the schemas from scratch, with document types for Projects, FAQs, and Process steps. So when I add a new project like Aricah or Planzia, I just fill it in inside the Studio and the site updates itself. It's content modelling and CMS work as much as frontend, which is the part a lot of portfolios skip.
